Q. Do any of your apartments come furnished?
A. Yes, a number of our larger apartments (3 or more bedrooms) come furnished with bedroom, living room and kitchen furniture. In a fully furnished apartment, each kitchen has a table with chairs, each living room a couch, chair, coffee and end tables, and each bedroom a full- sized bed with dresser, desk and desk chair.

Q. I am moving from one Campus Hill apartment to another and have furniture and belongings that need to be moved. What are my options?
A. Before making any moving arrangements, you should contact the office to determine the approximate date that your new apartment will be available to move into. See the moving in faq page for a range of dates. If you plan to move your own stuff, make sure that you will be in Syracuse and available during that time. If you plan to hire a moving/storage service, we recommend The Student Storage Co. (877-637-8673) as it has extensive experience with student moving needs.Contact Diana in our office for more information.

Q. I’m living with Campus Hill next year and I have purchased furniture from the current residents of my new apartment and it needs to stay there. What do I need to do?
A. You must complete a “Furniture Storage Application " (yellow form available in our office) since your furniture will remain in the same apartment during the apartment turnover period. You must also label all items with official Campus Hill furniture tags (also available in the office). If possible, all furniture should be placed in the center of the room away from the walls, and in closets, so as not to interfere with our subcontractors who will be doing work. Campus Hill assess a fee to cover the costs our subcontractors charge us to move the items around the apartment. You will need to pay your handling fee before we will accept your furniture checklist form.

Please remember that any items left in an apartment that are not labeled and included on the proper form will be removed and disposed of.

Q. I purchased furniture from a current tenant and need it moved to my new Campus Hill apartment. Does Campus Hill provide a moving/storage service?
A. No, but we recommend The Student Storage Co. (877-637-8673) . It is entirely your responsibility to label each item with official Campus Hill tags regardless of who is doing the moving. Arrangements should be made with the people you are buying furniture from to do this. In addition, you should be sure to inspect each item of furniture, etc. yourself BEFORE you purchase it to determine that its condition is acceptable to you. As a reminder, any furniture or belongings left unlabeled will be removed and disposed of at the end of the current lease.

Q. I have furniture in a “non-Campus Hill” apartment (fraternity, sorority, dorm, other landlord’s apartment), who should I call?
A. Again, we recommend you call The Student Storage Co. (877-637-8673). Confirm the starting date of your lease as nothing may be moved into your new apartment until it actually begins.
